15 Minute New Year’s Eve Workout

Wow guys, we are wrapping up 6 years of Royally Fit Online today.  THIS IS CRAZY!  I could not be more flattered, grateful, and full of excitement for what is to come.  You guys are the best.  As always, let’s finish of the year like the badasses we are.

What you need: Mini bands + ball (or weights).

Warm-up: Included in the workout.

Workout: Today we’re doing 5 exercises, 3 times through for 50 seconds on, and 10 seconds off.

  1. Mini band side to side step: With the mini band around your calves (feet is more challenging), you’re going to step side to side far enough so you feel those glutes talk to you!
  2. Mini band forward and backward walks: Keep the bands around either your thighs (level 1), calves (level 2), or feet (level 3) and then walk forward and back, without turning around.
  3. Mini band seated ball squats:Keep the mini bands around your calves or thighs here, and then sit your body weight all the way down on the ball, and then jump it back up.
    NO BALL?
    Just sit the bum down as low as you can and then pop up into a squat jump or heel lift for no jump.
  4. Skull crushers: Complete only one side for the first two sets, and then switch half way through on the final set. Keep the abs tight!
    NO BALL?  Use one dumbbell here instead!
  5. Clean & press: Using the weights, go down into a squat, and then when you’re back up to standing again, THEN complete your hammer curl and shoulder press. Go fast, but do your best not to use momentum.

 

BONUS BUTT AND ABS

  • Tempo bridges with mini band (complete 10 reps slow, and then 10 fast) for 3 minutes straight without a break.
  • Low plank (hold for a minute)

Cool-down:10 minutes of stretching and cooling off this time!
