18 Minute Body Weight Brutalizer Workout

Super quick workout, during this super busy time of year ;)

What you will need:

  • Just yourself and some spunk to get this done!

Warm-Up:

  • Various moves to get the hip flexors all opened up!

Workout: Complete the 3 exercises below consecutively for 50 second on, and 10 seconds off, for a total of 5 sets!

  • Star jumps – Super tough exercise, but you know what…we’re only doing an 18 minute workout right!? While jumping up take the legs and the arms out into a ‘star’ so you can work your core!  Make sure you land low and softly on those knees please.
    Modification: Instead of jumping complete a squat followed by alternating side to side leg and arm lifts.
  • 4 walking lunges forward + 4 squat pulses + 4 walking lunges back….repeat– Please watch the video for the exercise description here. You’re going to do 4 walking lunges forward, take your legs into a wide squat, complete 4 squat pulses, and then 4 walking lunges backwards, followed by the same thing with squats before you head forward again ;)
  • Hip dips – With your hands or your elbows underneath your shoulders (high or low plank), keep those abs engaged while you dip them side to side to really work the oblique’s again. You can use your knees here if you’d like!

Cool Down/Stretching

  • Complete 5-10 minutes of nice gentle stretching.
