19 Minute UgiFit (and mini band) Workout

This workout is the definition of an all-over body workout…I felt tight all-over after doing this.  In a good way!  I pushed hard, breathed intensely, and sweat my ass off.  Enjoy!

What you will need:

  • Fitness ball or weight if you have one available, plus a mini band.

Warm-Up:

  • Various moves to get that body warmed up

Workout: Complete the exercises below for 50 seconds on, with 10 seconds to recover,  repeat 4 times through.

  • Squat with side to side press – Holding the ball or weight in your hand, come down into a squat while holidng it at your chest, and when you come up, twist to one side while also pivoting the the feet so your back has lots of movement.  Switch sides after each squat.
  • Drop Burpees – Burpees on steroids….drop your body weight all the way down to the ground to really work the core and arms.
  • Woodchops, towards the right hip – Holding the weight up, bring it down towards your right hip while also pivoting both hips and really pulling those abs in. This is an incredible exercise for your arms, core and cardio, but if done without the pivot and proper form can hurt your lower back…so pay attention!!
  • Woodchops, towards the left hip – Same thing on the other side.

Cool Down/Stretching

  • Complete 5-10 minutes of nice gentle stretching.
