27 Minute Super Sweaty Workout

Or should I say, 27 minute super sweaty workout.  Damn this felt good!

What you will need:

  • Weights

Warm-Up:

  • 3 minutes of jump rope

Workout: Complete the first two exercises for 10 reps back and forth for 2 minutes on, minute off, 3 minutes on, minute off, 4 minutes on, minute off….then we move on to the next two exercises in the same format!

  • Squat & bicep curl – While holding the weights, complete a squat as low as you can (keep those shoulder blades together and back straight) and once you come up and out of your squat complete bicep curls with both arms at the same time.
  • Alternating back row in table top position & push up – Down on your hands and knees (with your hands directly underneath your shoulders), complete 1 back row and then follow that up with a push up, and then the next side.

***Complete these in the sequence listed above***

1 minute off

  • Jump squats – With your feet a little further than hip distance apart, come down and then jump up as explosively as you can, landing nice and low, as quietly as you can.
    Modification: Regular squats ;)
  • Weighted stationary lunges (10 per side) – With your feet separated 3-4 feet apart, keep both hips pointing forward and your core strong and long, while you complete stationary lunges coming up and down by bending your knees….not moving those legs!

Cool Down/Stretching

  • Complete 5-10 minutes of nice gentle stretching.
