16 Minute Boxing Day Workout

Workout
- We are doing a quick Tabata boxing workout out. Tabata means 20 seconds of work, with a 10 second breather.
Circuit 1
- 4 Punches 4 High Knees
- Jab Jab Cross
- 10 Punches 2 Jumping Jacks
- Squat Jumps
Total of 4 times through
Circuit 2
- Skull Crushers (alternate sides with each set)
- 10 Punches to Drop ( burpee hehe)
- Mountain Climbers – Make sure you are in a proper plank position. That means shoulders and wrists stacked, tummy tucked in and bum down
- Sit ups
Cool Down/Stretching
- Complete 5-10 minutes of nice gentle stretching.

I needed this workout so damn much. More than I probably knew it before I started. Truth be told, I may have teared up during your words of wisdom during cool down. I have had so much to be so damn proud of and to celebrate this holiday season that when I went to Christmas at my Mom’s house this past weekend, and my Step-Grandfather took me aside placed his hand over my Fit & Flare dress and rubbed my stomach saying “Pregnant again, Nicole?” and touting “Are you sure?” after I said no in absolute disgust that I was so hurt. Rather than family celebrating my recent accomplishments, I had a family member bringing me down. I have been trying so much to not let those words consume me over the holidays, but honestly it has been fucking hard. I have busted my ass this year and while yes I may be at my heaviest, I remind myself that yes while I may weigh more, most of that is muscle gain, I’m not starving myself, but rather eating a more healthy, balanced diet. I’m stronger, healthier, happier, a goal getter and that’s what matters the most and I’m damn proud of it. So cheers to that, and not some stupid ignorant comments. Thank you for the reminder to be kind with ourselves over the holidays. I needed that once more to hammer it in. Thank you 1000x over!!!
Aw babe, I am so sorry you had to go through that, but I am actually so proud of you for how quickly you turned it around. You thought about it, and quickly turned it around to find all the positives of your year. you are a warrior babe, and looking fit as hell. I will fully admit that this workout was harder for me then it should have been but I have seriously slacked over the past few months between work, hockey and Christmas preparations/events. My eating sucks and I find myself reaching for sugary treats instead of healthy options at home. I’m determined to get back on track and this was my beginning. Happy New Year!
We all get off track from time to time, ill be honest, I have been off track all week too! But like you said today is your beginning. Cant wait to watch you dominate 2019!!!
